Multiple Gateway Activity in obpm

Multiple gateway is formerly called Split-N, which I think the former name make more sense. :)

• Change granularities in a process (Batch job –> individual claim in the batch job)
• send out a request from many participants and evaluate response (request for quote to suppliers or a vote among participants in a role)

Here is the process

 

when “review job”, one job in “inbox” and that job contains 4 items.

 

Click “submit”, the “split” of “Handle Individual Claim” is working, which would generate 4 separated claims.

The Join activity that follows a Multiple Gateway can be used to evaluate information coming in from individual copies before continuing the rest of the process.
